The all-female business is built to deliver strategic creative work and maximize client budgets to small and medium-sized brands out-priced by traditional agencies.
PORTLAND, OREGON – January 26, 2021 Two Portland-based senior marketing professionals have banded together to create a results-driven collaborative partnership supporting small and medium-sized clients nationwide. The Swell Co-Lab is a female-owned collective of diverse talent created to better serve clients with strategic thinking, transparency, and a flat management structure.
The Swell Co-Lab team includes co-founders Traci Jones and Jana Kopp along with a deep network of experienced, vetted talent. Collectively, their expertise covers the full spectrum of client needs from digital marketing and content strategy, web design and development (including e-commerce), marketing automation, creative direction, and brand identity development. The team has worked on both the agency and client side, demonstrating decades of success tackling complex business problems with out-of-the-box solutions. They have been responsible for launching startups as well as running digital programs for billion-dollar companies. Fueled by the drastically shifting landscape of COVID-19 and as part of the team’s commitment to ensure client dollars are spent in the most valuable way for their business, Swell strategically operates with low overhead.
The Swell Co-Lab was created to put senior marketing talent to better use for clients. That includes streamlined project management with a single point of contact for your freelance team, transparent billing, and a lack of overhead. “Potential clients are wise to the fact that hiring a traditional creative agency is expensive and can be daunting, especially in a vulnerable market like 2020,” said Swell Co-founder Traci Jones.
“Our goal is to make it easy and affordable for clients to get up and running with an experienced team without the full agency price tag.”
The current client roster includes a variety of brands like Alden’s Organic Ice Cream, Streem, and Summit Development Group to name a few. “Summit was under a tight timeline to update our minimalist website. We needed to create a site that authentically spoke to our audience, highlighted our project work, attracted new clients and investors, and clearly defined our unique selling proposition,” said Jeff Jetton, Vice President of Business Development with Summit Development Group. “The Swell Co-Lab exceeded our expectations, and came in on time and on budget.”
