Rebrand and product packaging
THE CHALLENGE
House of A La Mode (HOALM), an incredibly successful online retailer of high-end, hand-dyed yarn and textiles, came to us for help updating their brand and creating product packaging and in-store assets to support their opening of a brick and mortar store.
THE SOLUTION
After a series of successful discovery sessions with HOALM’s owner, we set out to create a logo that reflected her vision for the brand and paid homage to the store’s physical location, which was also the owner’s hometown. Utilizing the city’s topography map, we created a delicate illustration that sits neatly behind a clean logo. The design of the logo also needed to be bold yet subtle, allowing it to “pop” when used on HOALM’s vibrant and colorful products. We then created a suite of in-store artifacts showcasing the logo.
